— 01 / Manifesto

Wild Horse is more than wine — it is a vessel for the spirit. Nurtured by gravel and a cool mountain climate, our bottles carry the poetry of the vast desert and the fading sun over the Yellow River.

Just as the wind moves without boundaries, our wines carry a sense of openness and possibility. Every sip is an invitation to taste unrestrained freedom.

Five things we never compromise.

Every choice in the cellar runs back to the same five vows. They are simple, stubborn, and very old.

01 — Soil

Gravel & dust

The Ganchengzi block sits on alluvial gravel washed down from the Helan range. The stones force the vine to dig, pulling minerality from twenty metres below.

02 — Hand

Picked, sorted, slow

Each bunch is cut by hand at first light, sorted twice, and destemmed gently. We never rush a vintage we cannot repeat.

03 — Time

Eighteen moons in oak

Open-vat ferment, malolactic in barrel, then 18 months in 300L French and American oak. Patience is the only additive we trust.

04 — Wind

The cool diurnal

40°C days, 12°C nights. The shock builds skins, layers aromatics, and gives us tannins that hold their shape long after the cork is pulled.

05 — Quiet

Low intervention

Native yeasts. No fining. Minimal sulphur at bottling. We let each barrel arrive at its own conclusion, then we listen.

“Just as the wind moves without boundaries, the wine moves without permission.”
